Description & Details: We are looking for highly motivated individuals who share our passion for science and want to work in a friendly, supportive, and collaborative environment. Fully funded PhD student and Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Peng Huang in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Calgary, Canada. Using zebrafish as a model system, our lab combines genetic tools, in vivo imaging, and functional approaches to uncover the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern tissue patterning and regeneration. Current research areas include spinal cord patterning, fibroblast origin and diversification, and tendon regeneration.
