HCR in Three Inks
Submitted by:

Wilson Lab

HCR multiplexed in situ hybridization in a zebrafish embryo, shown as three single channels and their merge. Red marks lhx5, orange dbx1b, and green nr2f2, rendered on white in a warm, subtractive palette like a hand-tinted anatomical plate. Reading left to right, individual transcription factor domains of the developing brain resolve into one composite — overlapping regions deepening rather than washing out, a gentle counterpoint to the usual luminous fluorescence.
posterior lateral mesoderm
Submitted by:
Elliot Perens
Perens Lab

Progenitor domains along the medial-lateral axis of the posterior lateral mesoderm at 12 som. Hybridization chain reaction staining labels vessel progenitors (etv2, green) and lateral plate mesoderm (hand2, aqua). Immunostaining labels blood progenitors (gata1a, orange); kidney progenitors in the intermediate mesoderm (hnf1ba, purple).
Gene expression in the zebrafish gastrointestinal tract after a high fat meal
Submitted by:
Alexandra Verbeke
Farber Lab

This is an image of a 6dpf larval intestine 2 hours after a 2 hour long feeding using BODIPY C16 labelled lipids in green. Gene expression throughout the gastrointestinal tract of three different genes cyp3c3, si:ch73-141c7.1, lpin2 are pictured in red, magenta, and blue respectively.
