Call for Nominations
We have now opened the nomination process for the 2026 election of new members of the International Zebrafish Society (IZFS) Board of Directors. The Board acts on the behalf of IZFS to guide the activities and direction of the Society. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved! www.izfs.org/about-us/board-of-directors
Zebrafish community members are invited to submit nominations by Wednesday, March 4, 2026 for the following positions on the IZFS Board of Directors.
- President-Elect
- Treasurer
- East Asia Director (1 vacancy)
- Europe and West Asia Director (1 vacancy)
- United States & Canada Director (2 vacancies)

Each elected Board member is expected to commit to a 3-year term starting on July 1, 2026.

While all community members are welcome to submit nominations, nominees must be IZFS members in good standing who have paid their 2026 dues. We welcome nominations of individuals who are forward thinkers, strategic planners, and dedicated volunteers active in the zebrafish community. Self-nominations are also welcome.
