The Gray lab seeks candidates for a postdoc position at the University of Texas at Austin. The postdoc will investigate fundamental questions in the developmental biology of the spine and related disorders such as scoliosis. We seek candidates that are interested in using both molecular genetics and quantitative imaging approaches to understand the cellular pathologies underlying scoliosis and other musculoskeletal disorders using zebrafish as a foundation, but perhaps willing to incorporate cell culture and mouse models as well.
