Clemson University - Postdoctoral Fellow

The Rosowski Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Eukaryotic Pathogens Innovation Center at Clemson University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on elucidating innate immune mechanisms. Specifically, we are seeking to understand the genetic pathways and molecular mechanisms that macrophages and neutrophils use to control infections, primarily Aspergillus fumigatus fungal infections. The Rosowski Lab uses a combination of genetic, imaging, and cell biology techniques in the larval zebrafish host model to understand innate immune cell function. The successful applicant will participate in an NIH-funded project. The position is for at least 18 months, with potential extension depending on funding.

 The expected annual salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 USD, and will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications, and institutional guidelines.
