Details
The 12th SCZI Scientific Programming Committee is pleased to invite proposals for 90-minute workshops that would take place at the conference.
The topics of a workshop should be timely, of strategic interest and should expand the scope of the themes of the conference. Each workshop should have diverse invited speakers and moderators and generous time allocated for discussion. Workshops should include mechanisms to facilitate exchange across all professional levels.
The proposals should include:
- Name and email of primary submitter
- Workshop title
- Description of the topic to be presented (250-word limit) and include the following:
- Why the topic is of strategic interest to the zebrafish community
- What are the expected outcomes
- How many participants do you expect
- How will you ensure this is an interactive workshop session (compared to a regular abstract session in the program)?
- Who will be presenting in the workshop?
Workshop speaker /moderator registration and travel costs will not be covered by SCZI. Please ensure the workshop participants are aware of this and can plan accordingly.
Workshop proposals are due by October 5, 2026 11:59pm ET and anticipate announcing the workshop selection by Early November.
