Financial Assistance Applications for the 12th SCZI now open!
Through grant support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Company of Biologists, and other organizations, the International Zebrafish Society (IZFS) is pleased to be able to offer financial assistance for travel and childcare for the 12th Strategic Conference of Zebrafish Investigators (SCZI).
All attendees are encouraged to apply!
The number of grants and the amount for each grant will depend on the total number of applications received, and available funding. Notifications will be made prior to the conference. Applicants will be scored on a variety of aspects including, but not limited to, originality of submitted abstract, career stage, and need.

Please review the BiO Global South Travel Grant applicant handbook and the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for eligibility criteria before applying. Applications are due September 14, 2026, and will be announced in early October.
