Workshop proposals now closed

The 10th SCZI Organizing Committee is pleased to invite proposals for 60-minute workshops that would take place at the conference. The topics of a workshop should be timely and should expand the scope of the thematic programing. Each workshop will have a combination of long and short talks by diverse invited speakers and generous time allocated for discussion. Workshops should include mechanisms to facilitate exchange among junior and senior investigators.

The proposals should include:

  • workshop title
  • one-paragraph description of the topic to be presented
  • list of invited speakers and moderators.

Previous Workshops at the SCZI:

  • Imaging Technologies
  • Physiology and metabolism
  • Education
  • Writing high impact papers
  • Human disease models and the role of zebrafish in assessing human disease variants
  • Anatomical Resources
  • Husbandry and other Fish models to use with Zebrafish

Applications closed on August 28, 2023,  anticipate the announcement of the workshop selection by October 1, 2023. IZFS and the SCZI will not be providing funding for selected workshops. Please contact info@izfs.org for suggestions on how to fund your workshop.
