9th Strategic Conference of Fish Investigators (SCZI)

Principal investigators are invited to attend the 9th Strategic Conference of Fish Investigators, hosted by the International Zebrafish Society (IZFS). The conference will be held February 4-8 at the National Taiwan University in Taipei. The meeting attendance is limited to 200 in order to enable meaningful discussions.
This conference is geared towards zebrafish and medaka principle investigators while welcoming researchers working on other fish models including but not limited to sticklebacks, cavefish, goldfish, and killifish. Plenary sessions will highlight cutting-edge research and technological advances, and there will be numerous concurrent sessions and workshops.

Now accepting abstract submissions! All abstracts are due on October 31, 2019. As of August 2019, IZFS has moved to a new database system. Because of this, all users will have to create an account (username and password). Registration includes lunch on February 5, 6, and 7 and dinner on February 4, 5, and 7. Coffee will also be provided during coffee breaks and light snacks during poster sessions.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations of meeting registrations are subject to a $100 cancellation and processing fee. All cancellations and refund requests must be in writing and sent to email@example.com by January 6, 2020. Cancellations after January 6, 2020 and now shows will not be refunded. Two hotel room blocks at two hotels have been reserved for conference attendees. All rooms are first-come, first served, and requests must be submitted to the hotel by Friday, December 20, 2019. The room rate is not guaranteed after Friday December 20, 2019.

IZFS will share more program information once finalized. Please check back for updates. The meeting will begin on Tuesday, February 4 at 6:00 pm with a welcome reception, followed by a keynote address and plenary session. The meeting will end on Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 am with a community session and closing ceremony.
